He spent 10 years in Colorado and then decided to move back to Kansas City. He has built a solid reputation and loyal fan base in the Midwestern states. He has established himself as one of the Midwest\u2019s premier vocalists and guitarist.<\/p>\n<p>The band he has put together since returning to the area consists of Grant Cochran (upright acoustic bass), Brian McCarty (mandolin) and one of Missouri\u2019s finest Scruggs-style banjo players, Todd Davis, a hometown boy, graduate of Excelsior High School and living in the area. Todd not only plays banjo, but also guitar, mandolin and bass.
